Move and Map
Move and Map is the main function of EZ File Transplanter.  The main screen of EZ File Transplanter has three big buttons.  The biggest and top button is the Move and Map button.
Click on the Move and Map button.
Drag a folder or file (in most cases you should drag the entire folder, but if you want to move only a file, you can do that by dragging it) from the Move From box to the Move To box.  Drop it at the location in the Move To box where you want it moved to.
Please note that folders that are not on a drive, like the Control Panel, Shared Documents, and your Documents at the bottom cannot be moved.  To move items from these locations, find their actual location on the drives.
The confirmation screen tells what folder (all subfolders and files in this folder will also be moved) will be moved.  The source location and the destination location are given in red.  If this information is not correct, click on the Back button.
The Show Advanced Map Options checkbox at the bottom allows you to change mapping specifications.  See the Show Advanced Map Options section for more details.
Click on the Move Files button to start moving and mapping.  The moving is performed by Windows.  After the moving is finished, EZ File Transplanter does the mapping.
A progress bar gives a rough idea of the progress.  The progress bar starts over at certain times.  This is normal and does not signify any problems.
The last screen tells whether the move was successful and tells how many links were changed.
See the Undo section to undo any changes.
